Whitening is a service patients frequently ask about, yet in many clinics it remains a side service that is only discussed when the patient requests it. Integrating it thoughtfully into the cosmetic treatment plan increases patient satisfaction and complements the effect of other treatments.

The success of any new service starts with the clinic team. Choose a system that is easy to use with clear steps, and provide hands-on training for everyone involved in the procedure. A useful practice is for team members to try whitening themselves, so they can speak to patients from experience.

The best moment to offer whitening is during a cosmetic consultation or after a cleaning. An orthodontic patient nearing appliance removal, or a prosthodontic patient who needs a shade selected before fabrication — these are all natural opportunities to offer whitening as a complementary option.

Whitening usually precedes cosmetic fillings, crowns and anterior veneers, because restorations do not lighten with whitening. Including it at the start of the plan gives a consistent shade result.

Patients decide faster when they can see. Digital preview tools, such as the Smart Preview Tool that accompanies the fläsh system, show the expected result during the consultation. Printed materials in the waiting room also help prompt the question before the patient enters the treatment room.

Schedule a follow-up appointment and guide the patient on maintaining the result. A satisfied patient is the best source of new patient referrals to the clinic.

We provide the complete fläsh system, a hands-on training session for the clinic team, an Arabic catalogue and patient leaflet, and display materials for the waiting room. Contact us to request a demo in your clinic.
